Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trivia Quiz mobile application (the "App") operated by Pietro Di Gennaro (aKingi) ("we", "our", or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using the App from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the App.

1. Use of the Application


The App is provided for personal and non-commercial use. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations;
  • attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the App;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App unless permitted by law.


We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions


The App may offer optional premium features through paid subscriptions.

Two subscription plans may be available:

  • Monthly subscription (auto-renewing)
  • Yearly subscription (auto-renewing)


The price, billing period, and applicable taxes are displayed in the App and on the respective store purchase screen before purchase.

Billing


Payments are processed through the platform from which you downloaded the App:

  • Google Play Billing (for Android users)
  • Apple In-App Purchases (for iOS users)


For iOS users, subscriptions are managed by Apple and billed to your Apple ID account in accordance with Apple’s terms and conditions.

Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase.

We do not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers.

Automatic Renewal


Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.

Cancellation


You can manage and cancel your subscriptions through your account settings:

  • Google Play: via your Google account subscriptions page
  • Apple App Store: via your Apple ID account settings


Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Refunds


All payments and refunds are handled by the respective platform:

  • Google Play refund policy applies to Android purchases
  • Apple App Store refund policy applies to iOS purchases


We do not issue refunds directly.

3. Premium Features


Premium subscriptions unlock additional features within the App, which may include but are not limited to:

  • removal of advertisements
  • enhanced functionality
  • access to additional tools or settings


Premium features may change, improve, or be updated over time.

4. Advertisements


The free version of the App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks.

By using the free version, you agree that advertisements may be shown.

Purchasing a premium subscription may remove advertisements where explicitly stated.

5. Intellectual Property


All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to:

  • software
  • design
  • graphics
  • icons
  • text
  • trademarks


are the property of Pietro Di Gennaro or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties


The App is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the App will always be available or uninterrupted;
  • the App will be free of bugs or errors;
  • the App will meet all user expectations.


To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • loss of data
  • loss of profits
  • service interruptions
  • device malfunctions

8. Third-Party Platforms


The App may be distributed through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Your use of the App must also comply with the terms and conditions of the respective platform.

For users accessing the App through the Apple App Store:

  • Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the App.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.


For users accessing the App through Google Play:

  • Google is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide support services.

9. Changes to the Terms


We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we do, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this document.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination


We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if a user violates these Terms or uses the App in a harmful or unlawful manner.

11. Governing Law


These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
